The accommodation of Le Petit Moulin comprises of:

Downstairs:

Large Entrance Foyer

As you walk through the main entrance to the mill there is a spacious foyer with the main stairway leading to the upper floor giving access to the east and west wing bedrooms.

This large foyer can be used for reading, relaxing or just simply enjoying the ambience of the mill whilst having a coffee and a chat on the two large comfortable sofas.

Dining RoomTo the left of the entrance foyer is a large formal dining room which comfortably seats up to 18 people.
Situated in the dining room is the millstream which runs through the house to the Millwheel at the rear of the property.
There is a small wall suitable for seating and viewing the stream via a glass viewing panel which is a particularly nice feature as the stream is illuminated at night and is a great talking point whilst having dinner or pre dinner cocktails. There is also a music system with an integrated iPod dock

Utility / Laundry room
To the rear of the dining room lies the entrance passageway to the utility room and garden room.
The Utility room is fully equipped for all your laundry needs with a washing machine, tumble dryer,fixed and portable drying racks,steam iron, ironing board, baby bath, and cleaning materials including mops, buckets,clothes pegs wet n dry vacuum cleaner etc

Garden Room
Just beyond the utility room is the garden room which is the ninth bedroom and has twin beds. This rooms¬†is useful for elderly couples or people that just don’t like climbing the stairs.
There is a separate downstairs toilet with large shower,vanity unit with a hairdryer and this doubles as the downstairs WC as it has two lockable doors (entrance in passageway and in garden room).

Salon
Adjacent to the dining room there is a large salon that has the traditional Charentaise fireplace with large comfortable sofas and entertainment in the form of a 50 inch plasma television with Freesat (BBC, ITV etc and radio 1,2,3,4 and 5) for those who need their UK television and radio programmes.
There is a blueray DVD player, and a CD/MP3 music system.

Kitchen
Passing through the salon you enter the large open plan modern kitchen which is fully fitted with the latest American style fridge with ice cube making facility, 5 ring gas hob, two electric and microwave ovens.
There is a central island which houses the sink, dishwasher, wine cave and two drawer drinks fridge and is a great place to congregate when cooking.
There is also a large rectangular dining table and chairs perfect for having breakfast with family or friends.
The two doors at the rear of the kitchen lead outside to the patio and gardens.

Patio
At the rear of the kitchen are two doors which open out to a large patio area with a large rectangular solid teak table and chairs which is a perfect place for al-fresco dining in the morning, lunchtime or evening, or just relaxing during the heat of the day. This is a perfect place to keep an eye on the kids as they play in the gardens on the swings, Wendy¬†house, trampoline or the children’s games that are located there.

Upstairs

As you enter the downstairs entrance foyer you will see the main staircase that leads upstairs to the large balcony area, which contains two large comfortable sofas and a small well stocked library with novels, adult books and children’s books, and is a perfect place for reading and relaxing and having a coffee during the day or a nice glass of wine in the evening.

Leading off the balcony area are the the East and West wings of the house which contain the 5 double en-suite bedrooms and 3 twin en-suite bedrooms.
The bedrooms are beautifully furnished in an eclectic style mixing ancient with modern in a traditional setting with honey coloured Charentaise stone walls and solid oak flooring in the west wing bedrooms and Charentaise stone with soft carpets in the East wing bedrooms.


These bedrooms and bathrooms have been lovingly restored to complement the rest of the mill without sacrificing the modern necessities of bathrooms and showers.
